keepin' it in the family
Bad news has caused a sudden, unexpected trip. And now I'm in Gondolin again. While it's somewhat nice to see my sons, it's a little annoying too. I need to find my brother. I should not be the one everyone runs to anytime there's a family crisis.
...then again, perhaps it's not a bad thing.
Fingolfin: *pulls Fingon aside after all the madness* You.
Fingon: Me.
Fingolfin: Your brother told me what happened between you and her, but I want to hear it in your words.
Fingon: I wouldn't fight her. I'm tired of fighting and I thought that if she did kill me it would end things
Fingon: then we had a few drinks because she was upset and because the baby is half human and messed up anyway
Fingolfin: *hugs Fingon* Good boy. You're getting better.
Fingon: *hugs back* thank you
Fingolfin: Now explain to me why you had your shirt off?
Fingon: we were convincing Maglor to eat. They were having me kiss her until she agreed
Fingon: Caranthir had me take off my shirt to make her even more willing to comply
Fingolfin: Thus the scream... *lightly hits Fingon across the back of the head* You're worth more than that, boy.
Fingon: It was...Well spur of the moment
Fingolfin: When you remember you are the son of kings and not a whore, your naneth and I will consider taking you back.
Fingon: *nods*
Fingolfin: *strokes his cheek* It's not easy on us either, you know.
Fingon: I know
Fingolfin: An... your naneth sends her love, too. And reminds you to make sure Ame eats more than just apples.
Fingon: I will try. *nods* I did mean to ask her for ideas for that
Fingolfin: Well, you can ask her when we come up for your wedding.
Fingon: Good idea

Fingon: I mean now that we have our house and things...I think I have an idea of what it'll be like after
Fingon: The BABY makes me nervous but that's not yet
Fingolfin: Well, your brother did do all that, remember. He's fine, isn't he?
